It's in the making, children find their greatest self 

Creative professionals with a shared passion for literature on the human condition, creativity has always been central to our family life.

It’s not simply an appreciation for self-expression through artistic means, but recognition that creativity is the foundation to academic success, personal fulfillment, and happiness. 

From Einstein to contemporaries across diverse fields, now with ever greater amounts of supportive research, creativity is recognized as an essential cognitive muscle to develop.

We’ve been fortunate over the years to be surrounded by friends and educators who share our reverence for creativity in child development and education.  We’re still on this journey, but along the way we’ve learned some truths that have greatly enriched our lives in ways we feel this course can do for others.

Bubbles afloat across a blue sky captivates the heart and mind.  The resulting curiosity, channeled into making, unifies the head, heart, and hands with desire to overcome fears of the unknown.  When a creative challenge is achieved, one’s sense of capacity in the world changes.  New challenges appear more accessible.  Higher confidence and self-appraisal fuels tenacity and resilience in the face of inevitable setbacks.  

This is the “beauty in the making.”  It speaks to our greatest aspirations for children and adults for a better, more purposed-filled life as well as a great bubble day.
